By filling out the Request Research Assistance form you will be scheduled in for a one-on-one meeting with Library Staff who will help you navigate all the available databases for the best resources. They will spend dedicated time with you to narrow down search fields, find appropriate sources, and suggest some of the best places to start your research.
Research Assistance appointments will involve being asked a lot of questions about your area of focus, so be sure to bring along your assignment details or any notes you've previously made about your research subject.
Research Assistance appointments are only available between 9am and 5pm, Mondays through Fridays. If you have a research question that requires immediate assistance, please visit the Circulation Desk or use the Live Help feature below.
For assistance with writing a paper or citations, please get in touch with the Dalhousie Writing Centre, where they also provide one-on-one appointments.
Use this chat-based reference service for research support and help finding resources. This service is provided by library staff from all Novanet partners.
If you'd like to get in touch with someone who works specifically at King's Library, please use the contact information at the bottom of the page.
