Novanet is a consortium, or partnership, of academic libraries. This gives you easy access to any of the physical materials available at any of the participating institutions.

Searching our catalogue will show you what is available in consortium at large, but you can also limit your search to items at King's Library by using Novanet's "Advanced Search" features.

Logging into your account on Novanet will allow you to request items.

Requesting a title that is available in the King's Library will place that item on hold for you.

Requesting a title that is available in another library in the Novanet consortium sends it to the King's Library for you. Depending on where the item is coming from, this usually takes approximately 3-5 business days, but please be prepared for longer processing times during exam seasons. 

You can still request a title that is currently out on loan from any Novanet institution, and the item will be set aside for you as soon as it becomes available.

Regardless of where your item is coming from, you will receive a confirmation email when it is ready to be picked up.
