MLA Style is the only citation style you can use for your FYP papers. Click on the MLA Style tab to learn more.

For the majority of your FYP papers, you will be using primary sources only. You may find it helpful to consult the books listed on the Reference Books page to get context or insight into your subject, but the tight timeframe of your papers will limit your research.

When you begin to plan your Position Paper at the end of the Fall semester, and your Research Paper at the end of the Winter semester, you may find the resources on the Find Journal Articles page useful for locating secondary sources.

Developed by The Writing Lab at Purdue University, OWL @ Purdue gives a comprehensive overview of MLA style citations for a variety of sources, and provides a collection of examples for each.
